i remember him Isaiah drafted him he was traded to the Bulls, he ate his way out the NBA. these guys get a chance in a lifetime and do nothing with it. there are so many guys that can really play that will never get that chance. i wish him well.

Coming out of georgetown and being taken 8th i think, I thought he could reek havoc on bigger pfs by using his latitude to push people around. He commonly dominated games in college throwing up 30 20 games like no ones business. But once I saw him play his first season in the league i knew he was never gonna make it. he went the way of tractor traylor, jahidi white, oliver miller, stanley roberts and soon to disappear Dejuan Blair.
At least he cashed them checks
STAY UP FAT ASS, WHO CARESA IF YOU SUCK AND CANT PLAY FOR SH*T, AT LEAST U RICH
THATS WHY WE DONT LOV THE HOES

****** Sweetney you have a lot of tools required to be successful at the next level but unlike say a 'Big Baby' Davis who seems to be able to have put all that talent in that frame together, Mike hasn't.

Lucky for Sweetney he still has time, though not as much as he once did. He's gonna have to bang, point blank. You can't have that frame and be shy of contact. He can't shoot like Davis and he can't jump like Maxiell.. so he's gonna have to develop some offensive niche.

I'm thinking a jump shot from 12 and in and maybe a baby hook in the lane. And more than ANYTHING else he's going to have to watch his conditoning and keep his weight down without losing any power.

This guy should NEVER be more than 260 lbs. He's got SF height and a PF frame. You don't see a a lot of swing fwds at 260+. Either you're gonna have to have the most nimble footwork or you gotta keep your weight down.

Good luck Mike.

Sweetney was a guy who SHOULD be a 16 and 8 guy in the league...all the physical tools...none of the mental ones...he hasn't been in the league in two years, has supposedly been working with a trainer, and is in YMCA basketball shape, not NBA basketball shape...he could still snatch 5 to 10 minutes off the bench for my Grizzlies...

I mean he's been of for 2 years! If he can't get into shape with 2 years off, then no one should sign him for having no commitment.
