Free agent center Francisco Elson confirmed to HoopsHype.com via e-mail that he’s indeed signing with the Bucks, as first reported here last Wednesday. The former Spur will be joining the only other Dutchman in the NBA, Dan Gadzuric, in Milwaukee.

“I had a great conversation with the coach (Scott Skiles) and I feel this is the place I can contribute the most with my position and have an impact,” Elson said. “The team looks great, the guys are great, the staff is great. I’m very excited to be a part of their organization and I really look forward to playing. The organization is committed to win and I want to be a part of that.”

Free agent center Francisco Elson could soon sign with the Bucks, one source close to the player told HoopsHype.com. The former Spur has received offers from FC Barcelona, Atlanta and Milwaukee and is leaning towards taking the latter.

Elson, who averaged 3.3 ppg and 3.2 rpg with San Antonio and Seattle last season, also had conversations with New Jersey, Washington, Charlotte, Miami and Clippers earlier this summer.
