Glad to see you still going on with the BBall. I was watching the Rockets & GS and heard Van Gundy mention the story about the attackj, and found this site. Gabe! I’ve been reading your blogs for over a year now, and though I haven’t seen a lot of your play I’m a fan of your writings!.
Even so, I heard about what happened to you after a game in the CBA and I hope everything is well! I’m glad that Lieu or whatever that guys name was got fined lol!

Hope he doesn’t try to sneak up on you maybe you can pull some jiu-jitsu and throw an armbar at the guy. Gogoplata anyone?

Hey Gabe,

I’m really sorry to hear about that classless attack while you were with your wife, children, and mother-in-law. That incident was a disgusting display of humanity’s ugliest side.

As a fellow human being, I’d like to extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences for what happened that evening.

That being said, though the perpetrators of this particular incident were Chinese, it is my hope that it does not lead you to stereotype or to hold a retributive grudge against all Chinese people.

And as a Chinese-American and fellow minority, it is also my hope that you take action in condemning such blatantly racist comments as the one above from Jared on December 6, 2008. Though you may have been a victim of just such ignorance, I hope that you can be the bigger man and take a firm stand against stooping to such a low level.

Proud of Obama. My nation will be better as a result. I think he’ll have a strong effect abroad as well.

Jerry Sloan is a good coach, and a bitter, dried up old homophobe as well.

The two don’t have a whole lot in common except they like basketball.

what up gabe? the whole reason i like your random style is because i can identify with it. its always nice to know there are others like me on the planet, makes me feel a lil more sane! but basketball yeah right i love ak47’s game he gets a bad wrap most of the time from people who only think scoring is important, the kid can run the point well,defend on or off the ball,throws block parties(block shots duh) on the regular! hes one of my favorite players to say the least along with anyone who plays d with reckless energy!!!!keep up the good work gabe stay true!
