Gabe,
I love reading your blog, too bad it doesn’t come more often. What I find really great is how you look forward to learning from your experiences, and sure they are rich and diverse.

On the other hand, too bad what happened in ASVEL, but your agent could have known. Sure it did not happen with TAU.

I wish you can make it with the Jazz, Sloan does know a lot about basketball and you will improve your game for sure. If you don’t, for your own good, I’d look for a longer contract, settle a bit, there are teams that will appreciate your experience and passion all over the world, the piece missing is compromise. Like when you were in college or whatever, that is impossible to get in a 6 month contract.

I know what your talking about Gabe. I played for that same coach in LeMans and they got rid of me near the end of the euro-league. We had like 2 games left and they brought me in and said I’m not the right fit for the team so they had to let me go. When I arrived on that team they were 1-4 in the french league and needed my help to get them winning again. My time there in the french league we were 10-4, but it was my fault the team wasn’t winning wow!!. I love how they make excuses to get rid of players and then try not to pay. I feel your pain.
