I’ve always wondered if you were still playing basketball. I played at McCullough high school against your CyFalls team way back when. I was a scrub so I didn’t play much, but I did get the opportunity to guard you for a few possessions. Man were you a beast! I think I had the privledge of you dunking on me once. That was probably the highlight of my senior year. Good to see you are still playing. I enjoy reading your blogs.

Your blog really gives insight into the reality of making a career out of playing basketball for most talented players. I hope you might consider posting more in the future about your expectations and experiences in high school, the recruiting process, your experience in college in addition to your writings regarding your pro career.

Yo Gabe as long as you keep blogging holmes, its all gravy. Hey you playing in the Puerto Rican League this year? I might shoot down there and visit the homie JoJo. I attimes wonder why you arent in the L, I figure you’re better than 50% of the league and seem willing to play your part or position. I can think of off the top only one or two players that ball harder than you and thats Kobe and Ron-Ron. I am not saying you’re at their level skill wise, I am just talking about sheer effort and guile(no Street Fighter 2 character) and add in your surplus of skills and athletisicm and there is no reason you shouldnt be contributing to a playoff contender. Ime Udoka is, You’re telling me you couldnt be the 8th man on the Suns or Raptors, Come’n now. Also I am not dick-riding just stating facts. I was there a few summers ago when you banged on Paruco, I actually have it on tape(might have to up on Youtube). Good Times!
