Z-bo made huge progress in passing out of the double team, their is room for oden aldridge and zbo, plus on many teams aldridge can play the three if required. Pritchard is in no big hurry to trade a bubble allstar for minimal value or vetren with a bad contract. patient is a virtue in this trade... the zac trade is not necessarily a necessity and you only do it for value. If he chooses to retire, and cite "career-ending injury" as the reason, he'll still receive the remaining $26.25 million he's owed, and none of it would count against the salary cap. However, if he doesn't choose to retire and is too injured to play for the Blazers, he'll still get paid, but his salary will tie the hands of the Blazers due to the cap.
