Hey Jacob,

Why do you have to have an anti-semetic slur to make your point? You realize, I'm sure, that your name is a Hebrew name. Are you ashamed of your heritage or just an idiot?

Downtown Larry Brown is, well , lets say...complex. Complexity of a very intelligent human being, with all its attendent character deficiencies. He was a failure with the hapless Knicks, but then again, who has had success lately? I am amazed a man of his age and his bank account wants to coach and coach bad teams. Glutton for punishment? Inability to stay home and be a normal family man? Complexity rules.

It would be nice if Larry can some how teach his guards & swingmen how to get their post guys involved. Something Charlotte has refused to do that past 5 years with guys like Felton, Wallace, McGinness, Richardson (since departed), etc... running down the court for a ridiculous shot within the 1st 10 seconds of a possession. How about getting Okafor involved? I'm tired of watching him get a rebound, pass it off to a guard, only for them to race down the court & shoot before he can even get there. Okafor shoots 57% & get 9 shot attempts a game if he's lucky. Why not lob the ball into the post so he can do some damage/score & get the other team's big guys in foul trouble. At least Dwight Howard's teammates throw him the ball. It’s not rocket science. No really, look at Charlotte's roster. All perimeter players take the shots. Or do they think this is the 6'7" under league? I think that league existed 20 years ago….

I disagree that this is a puff piece. The psychological analysis is actually quite profound; how many writers could analyse the 5 stages of Larry Brown?

Having watched him closely when he coached at UCLA, the Clippers, and the Olympic debacle, one has to observe that he is a very stubborn and opinionated person, to a fault.

How did he keep Lebron James and Dwyane Wade on the bench in the Olympics, preferring to play Lamar Odom instead? No wonder we didn't win the gold medal.

You have to give him his respect though. The only time that the Clippers have ever looked like a basketball team for an extended period of time was during his tenure. I wonder how many coaches have won an NCAA and NBA championship?

Here's some more Larry Brown genius in the draft: We were all at the Alamodome in San Antonio when he selected Dwane Schintzius late in the first round to back up David Robinson.
I think he also wanted to trade Robinson for Kiki Vanderweghe! Sheer genius!!

Larry Brown is a greedy heeb who could never just be satisfied sticking with one team for a long period of time. While a great coach, his greediness and backstabbing ways cast a large shadow over his accomplishments

seriously dude I hate Larry Brown! but you cant just ignore he's a great coach (at least what most people see)... The Larry brown disorder is something that annoys me. Just good to here he's back with winning in Charlotte, erasing his ugly image in New York

I was present at the Lakers game that the Bobcats won. Trust me it had nothing to do with how well the Bobcats played. The Lakers basically didn't show up until the 4th quarter where Kobe took over and forced OT when they had no right to be in the game. The Lakers then would have won that game for sure had Kobe not fouled out.

True. But who else would be able to deal with an "Answer"? ;)

You need to be crazy to do so.
