The time has come
The season opener with the Lakers and Rockets was awesome to watch. Kobe scored 45 and Shane Battier hit the game winning three! It was interesting however to hear the boos that rung out in the arena towards Kobe, who is arguably one of the best players in the NBA. And even though it’s rough for the fans right now with all the trade talk, I sure hope they can work all out in Lakerland.
Kobe for some time has really represented the team as a leader and God only knows what’s to come there. Also the Bulls are looking good: they are going to surprise a lot of people. They seem to have put a strong and very athletic team together there. And the San Antonio Spurs are favored to win it all, but I say not so fast.
I must say that Dallas is going to be really tough to beat, especially now that they have acquired Juwan Howard. He will swing from the 4 to the 5 at and bring in fresh blood to the Mavs.
And as you all know, my wonderfully athletic hubby still awaits his return to the hardwood and will for the right situation he is on: that mad quest for the ultimate the NBA gold! God willing he will get it.
