i don’t think that person is a sicko that is trying to act like me, i think they just like making fun of me cuz i like these awesome blogs of Jackies and i think doug is a great player. the person trying to act like me prolly doesn’t even think about these comments until they get on hoopshype and sees jackies picture with the other columnists on the homepage.

I have to tell you I’ve given you a hard time in the past, but I must commend you and Doug on the wonderful, insightfull interview that the two of you gave. I learned a lot about you both as people, and must commend you on your candor, but more importantly your commitment to one another above all else. I must be honest I used to think you guys were a perpetual PR machine, but I believe that interview provided a glimpse of something much deeper — and I like what I see! Not really.

“Let’s talk about all the good things the NBA does for charities and all the good initiatives.”

Helping people is not newsworthy, and it bores people. That’s not limited to sports, either. I’m not saying that it’s right, only that it’s true.

“But the fact is haters in the media don’t care about that.”

The media probably cares more than anyone. It’s their readers who don’t care, and the readers control the purse strings.
