as a Raptor fan I must say that Dee Brown was the man. A great shooter, Athlete and a good teamate. Many NBA players seem to want to avoid Canada so the few who say what a nice place T.O is get mad respect up here. I agree with everything in this article but I think you are underestimating the likelihood that a star player would leave the NBA for big money. Didn't Lebron, CP3, and Kobe all say at the Olympics that they would "definetly" consider a massive offer to play in europe? Hopefully you are right and we don't have to get Greek league on satellite to see 'bron.

I'm Brazilian and I'm a bit worried about how Leandro Barbosa will cope with a different coach in PHX... I think that his game was perfect fit to D'antoni's tatics. Do you think he has the talent to excel under whole new philosophy of basketball?

Dee, there has been a lot of controversy about Andrew Bynum's injury and treatment. There is also the situation where the Lakers have to consider paying a player with little experience potentially max dollars. Thus the two part question - 1- How can such a great organization as the Lakers get into an injury treatment controversy with such a young player? AND - 2 - Can you see the Lakers paying the MAX dollars up front or perhaps waiting the year out and what are the risks for either decision?
